Governance
County Durham Sport is governed by the County Durham Sport Partnership Steering Group and the County Durham Sport Partnership Board.
The Board is there to check and challenge the direction and performance of the partnership and Core Team, whilst acting as advocates for sport and physical activity within their networks at a senior level.
The Steering Group is there to enable joint working and planning amongst key partners and making sure that resources are used effectively, efficiently and economically to maximise the impact on the sport and physical activity development and delivery locally.
