Places are still available on the Safeguarding and protecting Children 2 : Reflecting on Practice course on 20 June 2011 from 6pm until 9pm at Belle Vue Leisure Centre Consett
Developed in partnership with the NSPCC's Child Protection in Sport Unit, this workshop is the long-awaited follow-up to 'Safeguarding and Protecting Children' that qualified coaches are expected to attend every three years. Instead of attending the same workshop again, coaches can now reinforce and strengthen their understanding of safeguarding without repeating the first workshop.
'Safeguarding and Protecting Children 2' differs from its predecessor in that it deliberately builds upon the practical experience you have already gained in your day-to-day role as a coach; giving you the chance to reflect upon as well as learn from other coaches' experiences.
