There are places still available on two courses coming up soon.

Safeguarding and Protecting Children 1 on 28 April at Durham University

This workshop is aimed at any individual who is involved with coaching, leading or assisting within children's activities. It covers topics including good coaching practice, recognising signs of abuse and the correct course of action to take if concerns are raised.

Positive Behaviour Management in sport on 3 May at Durham University

If you work with young people in a school or club environment, this workshop's for you! You'll get a much better handle on young people's behaviour - plus you'll find out just how your behaviour impacts on them. From there on in, you'll learn how to create a positive coaching environment and have all the strategies you need to help you deal with challenging behaviour. It's also an excellent opportunity to share your opinions and learn from each other about how to deal with unwanted behaviour and difficult situations as they arise.
