General Information

UPDATE: From 31 March, the information that you access via the CRB website will be moving to three different locations:

NEW DOCUMENT: CPSU Briefing Document - Abuse of Positions of Trust within Sport
This document looks at abuse of positions of trust in the sporting context, including case examples and links to further information.

Top Tips for Completing the New CRB Form
The new CRB application form was designed to allow customers to apply for a CRB check and ISA registration on one simple form. However, as a result of the Government's recent announcement to halt the launch of ISA registration phase of the new Vetting and Barring Scheme this form should only be used to apply for a CRB check. This guidance document will help you copmlete the application form correctly.

ISA Scheme Information
From October 2009, individuals will need to register with the Independent Safeguarding Authority if they are to work or volunteer with children or vulnerable adults in a regulated activity. This document provides information on the scheme and what its implementation will mean.
